Dee next full moon is on Wednesday June 18th, and on this grand night during this years OMee In:sight Summer Solstice Festival week of merriment & reconnecting with ones self, they have a special treat in store for you lovely OMee's out there. To boot, this year solstice falls on OM's infamous Saturday night folks!!! Y'arrr!!! Last years Wednesday night film screenings were an experiment (its a no music night), and an instant hit at dee fest, especially that it followed dee hilarious "(un)Talent Night" (still laughing over that one). Like last year, this night is programmed by Dan Browne, Steve 'Rrr & Shanger. Films by Norman McLaren & Kenneth Anger, and (OMee) Peter Mettler's Picture of Light were dee hits of last years Re:treat.
This year, we at dee have planned two main film nights at In:sight & three nights of grand film tent screenings. We have a few surprises in store for you. Y'arrr!!! For dee numerous filmmakers out there who are planning to come to this years In:sight, please bring your films with you. OK? Y'arrr!!!

Open Screen - Thurs, June 19 @ In:sight film tent --- after '(un)Talent show'
Any filmmaker that shows up with their film gets it screened. It's that simple folks!!!! As is our tradition here, we encourge all filmmakers to do a 1' intro and field audience Q&A. Y'arrr!!! This evening will be MC'ed by those sinister filmmakers Dan Browne & Gio Shanger. Everyone welcome, eh. This is being held during a Chillout & Recharge for the weekend time in dee festivals schedule. Please remember, film sound is alot quiter then DJ'ed sound. This is how us filmmakers recharge for dee weekend. Y'arrr!!! (NB: we can only screen DV, DVD or QTV)
